| Looking back I see in my work themes of animals combined with the use of transparent media. I have been consistently drawn to employing clear casting resin or glass - as a media in itself – or as a base for various emulsions, whether photographic or paint. |
| I have not really travelled far from my roots of painting birds, to ambiguous photographic portraits of hands and eyes belonging to various animals from Aye-ayes to axolotls; to imagining other alien worlds and inhabiting them with flora and fauna, to my present narratives of factual vanished and disappearing eco-systems. |
